TULINA, based in New York, is a whimsical handbag collection inspired by nature.  Each design combines style and versatility to create quality leather handbags. The designs are unique for the woman that dares to dream, yet convenient interior pockets and compartments help her keep it all together. There is genuine care and attention to detail involved in the making of each handbag. Great quality leather is used by the skilled craftsmen in the old city of Istanbul. I always thought that nature was simply magical as I ran through the garden of my grandparents house. Years later, still believing in that magic I decided to bring it alive with my creations.  I started designing nature inspired leather handbags in 2005. After noticing the great response on my bags and designs I decided to attend to a certificate program at CIATEC in Mexico for handbag design and construction.  While in Mexico I experimented with different styles and leathers to better understand the process of creating a stylish bag that also accommodates the modern necessities such as keys, credit cards and cell phones.  The result is really well received functional interior pockets which my customers just love.
